It is with deep sorrow that the Arnold family announces the passing of John Byron Arnold, on 2/3/25, aged 66, after a long struggle with a Motor Neuron Disease. He fought bravely until the very end and was surrounded by family at his passing.

John was born in Fall River in 1957 to Byron Lester Arnold and Barbara McCoy Arnold. John had a great zeal for life always. After graduating from Durfee High School, he enlisted in the Army, and became a Military Policeman, guarding one of the most important General's at the 109th MP Battalion at Fifth Corp in Frankfurt, Germany. There he met and married Terri Amari Arnold. After serving, the Arnold's came back stateside and settled in Fall River, where they had and raised their children. After learning the ropes working in several local car dealerships, John settled and spent his remaining career at Poirier, Inc., in Fall River, ending up as their General Manager. His outside hobbies included, but we're not limited to, the Kiwanis Club, serving as a Post Commander at Amvets Post 60, and working out several times a week. He also had an intense love of music.

John is survived by his beloved wife, Terri, who was honored to have been his wife for 45 years and share in his joys, triumphs, challenges and sorrows. He is also survived by his children, John B. Arnold, Jr., Jessica L. Arnold, Alison C. Arnold, Caleb John Arnold-Southworth and Emily Rose Southworth. He also is survived by two brothers, Stephen G. Arnold of MA and Mark R. Arnold of FLA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He will be greatly missed.
