It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of a truly remarkable man, John Quintal. A resident of Fall River, Massachusetts, John was a beacon of light for his loved ones, guiding them through life with his strength, wisdom, and enduring love.

Born on February 6, 1948, in Fall River, Massachusetts, John was a man of strong character and resilience. He was a dedicated factory worker in the manufacturing industry, embodying the spirit of hard work and commitment. In his free time, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life, often seen cycling through the streets, engaging in the companionship of his favorite animals, or testing his strength through weight lifting. His love for these hobbies was surpassed only by his love for his family and friends.

John's bravery and dedication extended beyond his personal life and into his service to his country. As an Army expert rifleman, he demonstrated courage and commitment, earning a commendation for valor with an honorable discharge. As Winston Churchill once said, "Courage is rightly esteemed the first of human qualities because it is the quality that guarantees all others." John was the embodiment of this quote, showcasing his bravery in both his professional and personal life.

John is survived by his children Deborah Wright and Jeffrey Qunital. His two grandchildren, Justin Quintal and Kaelyn Costello who meant the world to him. John is survived by his beloved siblings Fran Gibson and Henry Quintal (wife, Cheryl), and many other relatives and friends who cherished his presence. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Quintal, and his mother, Francis Quintal.

John's life was a testament to the power of perseverance, courage, and love. His memory will continue to inspire all those who had the honor of knowing him. As Alfred Lord Tennyson said, "I am a part of all that I have met," and John’s spirit is indeed a part of all who had the pleasure of meeting him.
