SWANSEA...John (Jack) Reynolds, age 95, passed away at home surrounded by family on December 24, 2022.

Born in Fall River to the late James M.A. and Kathryn C.A. (Daley) Reynolds, John lived half of his life in Woodbridge, CT before returning to Swansea, MA. He was the loving husband of the late Janet T. (Clark) Reynolds.

After serving his country in the US Navy during WWII and Korea, John enrolled at UMass Amherst and received a Bachelor's degree in Forestry. He later began a career with the Southeastern Connecticut Regional Water Authority. He retired as a Superintendent of Source of Supply. John enjoyed the outdoors, went outside every chance he got. He had a special love of ducks hence his membership with Ducks Unlimited. He was also talented in woodworking and gardening. He became an Assistant Troop Master of Troop 63 in Woodbridge, CT.

Survivors include: son, Stephen E. Reynolds of Swansea, MA; daughter, Elizabeth J. Ritch of Richmond, VA; brother, Thomas Reynolds of Swansea, MA; 5 grandchildren; Erin Reynolds, husband Charles of Los Angeles CA., James Reynolds, wife Alicia of Bristol RI., John C. Ritch, wife Hannah of Richmond, VA., Sarah E. Von Sydow of Stockholm, Sweden, Michael L. Ritch of Richmond, VA., great-grandson John (Jack) G. Ritch of Richmond, VA. John was predeceased by his son, the late John C. Reynolds; brothers, the late Raymond Reynolds, Joseph Reynolds, William Reynolds, James Reynolds; and sister, the late Jean Boynton.
