The world lost a genuine soul and master mechanic when Jorge Archilla Cortes passed on June 19th, 2026. Born on January 4th, 1956, in the tranquil town of Ciales, Puerto Rico, Jorge spent his 70 years on this earth colored by a spirit of resilience, boundless curiosity, and an infectious zest for life. .

Preceded in death by his parents, Rogelio Archilla and Justa Cortes, Jorge's spirit of love, laughter, and resilience will continue to guide us in our journey forward. As we remember him, let us honor his legacy by living as he did - with a heart full of love, hands eager to help, and a spirit that never stops learning.
