With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a deeply loved individual, Jose Joaquim Barranco Beltre, known to us as Jose Barranco. Born on September 15, 1963, in San Jose, Dominican Republic, Jose left us for his eternal abode on March 5, 2026. His indomitable spirit, unyielding loyalty, and unique humor will forever be remembered.

Jose was a man of faith, living his life with an unwavering dedication that was evident in every facet of his life. He was a supportive father, a loving grandfather, and a devoted husband. His love for work was only surpassed by his love for his family. As a worker in the Cranberry Bogs of Carver, Massachusetts, he found joy and purpose in his labor. His work ethic and resilience were admirable and served as an example to all who knew him. His life was an embodiment of the biblical verse, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters" (Colossians 3:23).

Jose is survived by his son, Jeremiah Nicol, and his granddaughter, Alexia Velez. He was preceded in death by his father, Ruiz Barranco, his mother, Maria Beltre, and his beloved wife, Mary Mejia. His absence will be deeply felt, but his memory will forever inspire those he left behind. Jose's faith, love, and dedication were his legacy, and they will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
