Fall River, MA
Jose Jacob, a compassionate soul, born on March 11, 1952, in the beautiful islands of Azores, Portugal, passed away on August 29, 2026. Known for his humility and dedication, Jose lived an extraordinary life characterized by love, devotion, and an unwavering commitment to his family and work. His journey from Azores to Fall River Massachusetts then to Sarasota Florida, and finally back to his home in Fall River, Massachusetts, was a testament to his adventurous spirit and desire for a better life for his family.
Jose worked diligently at Quaker Fabrics as a mill worker, a role he cherished and performed with deep dedication. His humility and hard work made him a beloved figure at his workplace, where he was known for his commitment and the love he had for his craft. He was a loving husband, a dedicated father, and a doting grandfather. His world revolved around his family, and he always made sure they knew how much they meant to him. He found joy in his hobbies, particularly his love for music, which he often used to bring his family together for moments of shared happiness and bonding.
Jose is survived by his loving wife, Ann Jacob, his devoted sons Michael and Joshua Jacob, and his cherished grandsons Mason and Rex Jacob. He is also survived by his sister Fatima Gervasio. His brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, as well as his daughters in law Stephanie, Michael's wife and Jessica, Joshua’s wife .Each of them carries a piece of Jose's loving spirit and will remember him as a compassionate, dedicated, and humble man who lived his life to the fullest. "The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return," a quote that perfectly encapsulates Jose's life philosophy.
In the spirit of honoring Jose's life and the man he was, we invite all who knew and loved him to share their memories, stories, and photos on his memorial page. May these shared memories continue to celebrate the remarkable life that Jose lived, and may they bring comfort and solace to all who mourn his loss.
