Jose Mare Pacheco, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at home Born in Ribeira Grande, St Michael Azores, Jose was son of the late Antonio and Maria Do Carmo (Estrela Mare) Pacheco and had lived in the city most of his life. He was the spouse of the late Maria (Carneiro) Pacheco. Jose worked as a machine operator at Clear vu for 16 years. Survivors include: 3 Sons: Peter Mare and Nuno Mare both of Ontario Canada, Jeffrey Pacheco of Fall River, 2 Daughters: Dina Do Carmo of New Bedford, Maria DeCosta of Fall River, 4 Brothers: Antonio Pacheco, Harmeno Pacheco, & Pedro Pacheco all of Fall River, Ezebio Pacheco of Dartmouth. 3 Sisters: Helena Canera, Filomena Melo and Chris Paiva all of Fall River, 9 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, several nieces & nephews. He was the brother of the late Eldebrio Pacheco and the late Alda Pacheco. Funeral Service to which relatives and friends are invited to will be held on Monday October 3, 2022 at 10:00 AM at SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant St, Fall River, MA. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, 765 Prospect St, Fall River, MA. Calling hours will be Monday October 3, 2022 from 8:00 - 10:00 AM.
