PROVIDENCE... Jose F. Rodrigues, 77, of Fall River passed away July 27, 2020 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. He was the husband of Isabel Maria (Pereira Duarte) Rodrigues. Born in St. Michael, Azores, he was the son of the late Agostinho J. and Maria Emilia (Sousa Duarte) Rodrigues. Mr. Rodrigues had worked for many years as a Mason with Yerardi Landscaping in Medfield, MA and enjoyed fishing and playing dominoes. He was a member of the Portuguese Independence Band Club in Bristol, RI. Along with his wife, survivors include his sons: Agostinho F. Rodrigues, Michael P. Rodrigues, Joe Rodrigues (wife: Jennifer), Peter M. Rodrigues and Bobby J. Rodrigues, all of Fall River; his grandchildren: Anthony and Bethani; his sister Maria J. Cora; several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Martha, Rosa and Anthony Rodrigues, and was brother of the late Agostinho J. Rodrigues, Jr. There are no services scheduled at this time.
