TAUNTON... Josefine (Lang) Stillman, age 97, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Wedgemere HealthCare. Josefine was the beloved wife of the late Francis Stillman. Born in Vienna, Austria, Josefine met Francis during his service in Germany in the years after World War II. After the birth of their first child in the 1950s, they moved to the United States from Germany. Josefine loved to spend time with her family, taking care of her children and later, grandchildren. She was also known for her great skills as a cook and baker. Survivors include: son, Chris Stillman; grandchildren, Magen, Ian, Ryan and Tina; and 2 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Josefine was also predeceased by her son, the late Fred Stillman, and sister, the late Elsa Lang.
