It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joseph Clemens, 54, of Barrington, Rhode Island—a beloved husband, son, brother, father, and friend.

Born in Hartford, Connecticut, on July 21, 1971, Joseph's journey through life—filled with laughter, love, and triumph—concluded on March 22, 2026. His magnetic personality and zest for life left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Though he is no longer with us, Joseph's light will continue to shine in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Joseph was a devoted salesman in the automotive industry, a profession that allowed him to channel both his passion for vehicles and his natural ability to connect with people. Outside of his career, Joseph had a deep love for soccer and was both an avid player and enthusiastic fan.

He was the beloved son of Robert and Susan Clemens. Joseph made his home in Barrington, Rhode Island, where he built a life centered on family and connection.

He is survived by his loving wife, Traci Clemens; his parents, Robert and Susan Clemens; his siblings, Jean Clemens Worden, Paul Clemens, and Barbara Clemens Celico; his children, Kielly Clemens, Sydney Clemens, Kendall Clemens, and Cassidy Clemens; his stepson, Tyler LaPlaca; and his cherished grandchildren, Aria Pritchett, Adrian Pritchett, and Kingston Carter.

Throughout his life, Joseph remained a pillar of strength, offering unwavering love and support to his family and all who knew him.

In keeping with the family's wishes, a private visitation will be held at Southcoast Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow, with a committal service at Forest Chapel Cemetery in Barrington, Rhode Island.
