Joseph Guilmette, of Fall River, born in New Bedford, MA on February 19, 1961, He passed away on August 21, 2025, but his spirit and legacy will forever live on within the hearts of those he touched.
Joseph was a worker for Quaker Fabrics, where he worked tirelessly to ensure smooth operations and satisfaction.
He was also a loving husband to Cheryl Guilmette, his wife and best friend. Together, they built a beautiful life in Fall River, Massachusetts, filled with laughter, love and an abundance of cherished memories. Son James Guilmette, Grandchildren Corey Corderio, Jaden Guilmette, Molly Guilmette, Joey Guilmette Brother Roger and Wife Diane Guilmette Edward and Jacqueline (Guilmette) Mediros , As well several Nephews and Nieces and Extended Family
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, John and Otillia (Rodrigues) Guilmette, who instilled in him an unwavering faith and love for family. His son Joseph D. Guilmette, his siblings Linda Guilmette, John Guilmette & Michelle (Guilmette) Hershey
Joe enjoyed things such as Duckpin Bowling at the Walko Bowling alley, Men's Softball at Father Kelly Park as well as Men's Softball at Kennedy Park sharing a Team with both his Sons as well Nephew giving him Joy. He enjoyed spending time with his family outside and camping at Myles standish State forrest. Joe also assisted at the Massachusetts special Olympics as well as assisting with Family home care with his Mother In Law Pauline (Berube) Turner
His Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Name Roman Catholic Church at 709 Hanover Street, Fall River, Massachusetts, 02720 on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Attendees can meet directly at church.
Services are humbly entrusted into the care of Southcoast Funeral Homes "Celebrating A Life Well Lived"
