With a heart full of fond memories and a spirit of celebration, we bid farewell to Joseph Henry Maynard, who was born on August 29th, 1977 in Fall River, Massachusetts, and left us on March 26th, 2026.

He is survived by his loving friend, Richard Pacheco. He was the son of the late Floyd Maynard and Jacqueline Maynard.

Joseph was an extraordinary person, radiating warmth and kindness from his very core. His spirit was never confined, and his love for life was infectious. He was a beacon of courage and resilience, inspiring those around him to live fully and fearlessly. His strength and determination were a testament to his character and an inspiration to us all.

Besides his friend and his mother, Joseph was also survived by his sisters, Chris, Mandy and Kim. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. Joey will be missed by his faithful four legged companions, Max and Cloud. They were devoted to Joey as he was to them.

Friends and Family are cordially invited to attend a public visitation on Thursday, April 09, 2026 from 04:00 PM - 06:00 PM at the Southcoast Funeral Home, inside of the Ferreira Chapel, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River. A Funeral Home service will follow at 05:15 PM. Interment will be held privately at Notre Dame Cemetery
