FALL RIVER... Joseph N. Medeiros, age 48, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. Born in Fall River, Joseph was the son of Mary Grace Cyr and the late Manuel Medeiros. He lived most of his life in the city as a carpenter. Joseph enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing and gardening He loved his houseplants. He was a jack of all trades. Joseph was also known for his sense of humor and enjoyed playing jokes on people. In addition to his mother, Mary Grace, he is also survived by: daughters, Alyssa Medeiros of Newport, RI, Kayla Medeiros of Fall River, MA, and Christa Hayston of Newport, RI; brother, Manuel Medeiros of Acushnet, MA; sister, Marianne Medeiros of Fall River, MA; 4 grandchildren, Jazlin, Jaylah, Madilyn, and Eliyanah; and several nieces and nephews. Joseph was also predeceased by his brother, the late Andre Medeiros. Memorial Service to which relatives and friends are invited to will be on Monday September 19, 2022 at 6:00 PM at SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, MA. Calling Hours will be from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM prior to service.
