FALL RIVER... Joshua Amorin, 33, of Westport, MA passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023 after a long and brave battle with mental illness. From his spirited childhood to his skilled craftmanship, Joshua's zest for life was evident in every endeavor. A master carpenter with a passion for creation, Joshua's dreams of owning his own carpentry business were hindered by the relentless grip of mental illness. Yet his love for nature and the open roads and his skilled hands on cars and bikes reflected the vibrant soul that resided within. Despite battling his own demons, Joshua radiated a personality that endeared him to all. His selflessness even in times of personal struggle built a community that embraced him. He gave generously, unaware that his love was a gift to us all. Yearning for acceptance and love, Joshua didn't realize the impact he has on us all. His absence has left a void in our hearts and words fail to capture the depth of our loss. Joshua leaves behind his parents Jeffrey and Elizabeth (Kozel) Amorin, grandparents Gloria and the late Joseph Kozel, his sisters Danielle Amorin-Crowell, Tamra and Kaylana his brothers Jeffrey Amorin, Warren and Jarrod and memories of his late brother Jonathan Nunes his best friend and sister Genna Nickerson. As a loving uncle, he cherished his niece and nephews. He also leaves behind a son, Savior, and a daughter, Harley.

Services will be held on December 14th at 6:30 PM at South Coast Funeral Home 1555 Pleasant St Fall River, MA. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM.
