Joycelyn Ethel Haskett, a ray of light and love to those who knew her, was born in Fall River, MA, USA, and passed away on March 11, 2025.

Throughout her life, Joycelyn was a beacon of unwavering loyalty, brimming with a spirited vitality that touched all who met her.

Joycelyn's life was a testament to the words of author Paulo Coelho, who wrote, "Loyalty and devotion lead to bravery. Bravery leads to the spirit of self-sacrifice. The spirit of self-sacrifice creates trust in the power of love." She was never married, and yet, her love was not confined. Jocelyn found joy in the simplest of moments, and her laughter was infectious, her spirit uncontainable.

Joycelyn was a devoted Jehovah's Witness. She loved her family and friends with her whole heart. Many will tell you that she had a great sense of humor and a contagious laugh.

Joycelyn leaves a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories with her family including son Kerry Lamont Haskett and his wife Cathy. Her siblings Jacquelyn Anfield, Jeri Quintas and spouse John, Jennifer LaCroix, Janet Souza and spouse Robert, and Jessica Haskett. Grandchildren Xavior, Travis, DeAndre, Makenna, Malik, and Montrel Haskett. Great grandchildren DeAndre Curtis Haskett Jr., Aiyanalis Flores-Haskett, and Eliyanah Haskett. She also leaves many, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased in life by her parents Josiah Laurence Haskett Sr, and Arlene Catherine Haskett. Her son Blake Arlyn Haskett, siblings Robert E. Haskett and Josiah L. Haskett, and brother-in-law William Anfield.

A public visitation will be held at Southcoast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, Massachusetts, 02723, on Wednesday, 26 Mar 2025 from 03:00 PM - 05:30 PM. A service to celebrate Jocelyn's vibrant life will follow at the same location at 05:30 PM. In remembrance of Joycelyn, we invite you to share your memories and upload photos to her memorial page.
