Judith
Boyer
May 17, 1961 — Mar 2, 2026
Judith-Ann (Manso) Boyer, fondly known as Judy by her loved ones, passed away peacefully at St. Annes hospital on March 2, 2026 with her 2 daughters by her side.
Born on May 17, 1961, to Louis and Mary Manso, Judith grew up in Fall River with her brother Larry Manso and many cousins. Her spirit of generosity, kindness, love, laughter, and joy will forever be remembered by all who knew her.
Judy loved her family with every part of her. Being the best mom, grandmother, cousin, sister, daughter, aunt and friend was her only goal. Her smile could light up any room and her laughter was contagious. Anyone who spent time with her felt her love and kindness. If you were lucky enough to spend the night you knew you would wake up to waffles in the morning with butter that had to fill every hole which is a core memory for many.
Judith resided in Swansea, Massachusetts, where she took immense pride in her work as a kitchen/laundry aide at Country Gardens nursing home. She was not just an employee, but a friend and a confidante to many, spreading warmth and comfort through her work. Her dedication and passion for her profession were evident in the meticulous care she took in every task she undertook. Judy loved to spend time with family, listen to music, play bingo, collect bears, go out for breakfast (esp at Kmart), and talk about family memories. She was the sweetest soul who never forgot a single person she met. Friends were family and she loved them the same.
She is survived by her 3 loving children Allan Boyer of Fall River, April Boyer of Fall River, and Amanda Souza and her wife Meaghan Souza of Attleboro. She is also survived my her 6 grandchildren Hailey, Abigail, Braedon, Savannah, Penelope, and Amelia and her older brother Larry Manso and his wife Renee Manso of Fall river and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Manso and Mary (Brilliant) Manso.
