Obituary

It is with sorrow and deep sense of loss that we announce the passing  of our beloved Judith Maria Souza born Jan 4, 1967, born in New Bedford MA as Judith Maria Silva.

Judy was a beacon of warmth, love and resilience, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to have known her . As the great Maya Angelou once said "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but  people will never forget how you made  them feel" Judith embodied this sentiment touching the lives of many with her genuine kindness and laughter

Judith demonstrated a remarkable love for food service where she dedicated a love for doing different carnivals And fairs that she was known for her handmade pizza and her hand squeezed lemonade stands

Judith is a graduate of Cape Cod Community College where she earned an associate degree in hotel and restaurant management.

Judith is survived by her Loving daughter Hailey Souza her loving mother Hope Silva and her devoted sisters Deborah Medeiros and husband Michael Medeiros and Beth Silva and husband Darius Silva and her love of her life her granddaughter Bailey Souza she is also a aunt to 6 nieces and 3 nephews and 2 great nieces she is also proceeded in death by her beloved husband Antone Souza and her father John Silva she was also a sister to her late brother John Silva Jr.

Public visitation for Judith will be held on Wednesday April 23, 2025 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the Southcoast funeral Home 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River Mass.02723

A graveside services will follow at 11:30 am at Pine Grove Cemetery 1100 Ashley Blvd. NB Ma 02745
