Justin
Pepin
Jul 12, 1997 — Apr 6, 2025
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Justin Dean Pepin, who left us on April 6th, 2025. Born in New Bedford, MA, on July 12th, 1997, Justin Dean was a beacon of light and love to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. As the great poet Rumi once said, "The wound is the place where the light enters you," and Justin Dean embodied that light, spreading kindness and joy wherever he went.
Justin Dean was a talented landscaper, a profession he cherished. He found solace in the symphony of nature and took immense pride in his ability to create breathtaking landscapes. His love for his craft was evident in each project he undertook, leaving behind a trail of greenery that would continue to flourish and remind us of his remarkable talent. His work was not merely a job, but a testament to his belief, much like the words of Vincent Van Gogh, "I dream my painting, and then I paint my dream."
Despite the pain of his absence, we take comfort in the memories we shared with him. Justin Dean is survived by his loving parents, Father Gary Pepin, Mother Monica Dean and Stepfather Michael Connors, sister Lily Connors, Brother Michael Connors Jr., step siblings, and his aunts and uncles. He will me missed by his friends and family. They remember him as a person with a heart full of love and a spirit brimming with life. In this difficult time, we are reminded of the quote by Haruki Murakami, "No matter how much suffering you went through, you never wanted to let go of those memories."
In our lifetime, we encounter a rare individual who embodies natural happiness. Their personality radiates overwhelming joy, positivity, serenity, and love, profoundly impacting those around them. Justin was that person, spreading his energy without seeking acknowledgment.
His presence was a gift, inspiring others with his resilience, humor, motivation, and love. Though his unfortunate soon passing will leave an unbearable void, his legacy reminds us that life is precious and fleeting. Justin's passions, from video games to his motorcycle, brought him immense joy.
His love for family, friends, and coworkers was unwavering.
Though his battle with cardiac arrest was lost, his memory will continue to inspire kindness and compassion. As we navigate this profound loss, we are reminded that life's fragility demands we cherish every moment.
In the face of darkness, let us be the beacon of hope, spreading love, kindness, and inspiration, just as Justin did throughout his.
We invite you to join us in honoring Justin's life on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 02:00 PM - 05:00 PM for a public visitation, with a Celebration of Life being led by Chaplain and Life Celebrant Ines Bates held at 04:00 PM at the Southcoast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, Massachusetts, 02723.
