Justino
Garrafa
Oct 26, 1947 — Sep 10, 2025
Justino Claudio Garrafa, known warmly to all as Justino, graced this world with his presence on October 26, 1947, in the quaint town of Furnas, Portugal.
Born to proud parents, Justino Resendes Garrafa and Sofia Garrafa, Justino was the youngest of three brothers, following Americo R Resendes Garrafa and Antero Garrafa.
Justino was a devoted husband, father, godfather, grandfather, and uncle, whose love enriched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him. He is survived by his loving wife Ana Maria Garrafa, his son, Ricardo Resendes, and his beloved daughter-in-law, Angel Resendes. He was a doting grandfather to Bianca and Brett Resendes, and a cherished godfather to Raquel Resendes, radiating love and devotion in every role he embraced.
Justino's legacy is not simply in the boats he built, but the lives he touched with his kindness and generosity. His life was a testament to the words of Mark Twain, "The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why." Justino found his "why" in the love he had for his family, his work, and his community.
