FALL RIVER ... Katherine F. (Walsh) D'Angelo, 65, of Fall River passed away, Friday, September 2, 2022, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was born in Fall River, a daughter of the late John R. and Dolores M. (Fascione) Walsh, and lived in Fall River for most of her life.

Katherine was a nurse's aide for many years. She loved taking care of people, and anyone who knew her, knew what a kind heart she had. She loved music, dancing and spending time with family and friends. If you were fortunate enough to have spent time with Katherine, treasure those memories, for we know that you have had some good times and many laughs with her. Of everything she loved, nothing compared to those times spent with her beloved son, taking day trips to their favorite local places, but the best was their vacation in Bermuda.

Survivors include a son John R. "Bobby" Walsh, of Fall River, and a niece Samantha Moniz, of Fall River.

Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday, September 23, 2022, at 8:00 A.M. at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River followed by a 10:00 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption, 327 2nd Street, Fall River. Calling hours will be Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M.
