FALL RIVER... Katherine L. (Bohun) Rocha, 85, of Fall River passed away June 23, 2022 at Kimwell Nursing & Rehabilitation. She was the loving wife of the late Philip B. Rocha to whom she was married for 61 years prior to his passing in 2021. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Anna (Anthony) Bohun. She had been a lifelong resident of Fall River. Mrs. Rocha was a communicant of the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption in Fall River where she was a member of their Women's Guild and volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul. She was a member of the Secular Franciscan Order. Kathy worked for many years in jewelry sales at the former Arlins and Bradley's. She was an avid dancer and enjoyed shopping. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her sister Helen Schultz of Fall River; her dear friend Fr. Thomas McGlynn along with many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Borys Bohun, Stephen Bohun, Theodore Bohun, Andrew Bohun, Alex Bohun, Sophie Moser and Pauline Bohun. Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 9 AM from the Boyko Memorial Funeral Home, 709 Broadway Fall River followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption, 327 Second Street Fall River, MA. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery Fall River. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2022 from 2 - 4 PM.
