NEW BEDFORD ... Kenneth G. Cabrita, 50, of Acushnet passed away, Monday, October 12, 2015following a long illness. Born in Providence, RI he was the son of Maureen Norton-Walker of Zephyrhills, FL and the late David J. Cabrita. Mr. Cabrita worked as a landscaper and greens keeper for the Potting Bench in Lakeville for several years before getting sick and the Lakeville Country Club many years ago. He enjoyed being outdoors in nature, gardening and spending time with his family and friends. Along with his mother, survivors include his step-father: Ronald Walker of Zephyrhills, FL, 3 sisters: Sue Ellen Cabrita-Tantillo of Carver, Kimberly A Strout of New Bedford, & Amy Beth Cabrita of Austin, TX, his aunt: Gloria Bajor, his nephew: Anthony M. Tantillo, and 3 nieces: Rebecca Lee Strout, Stephanie Estrella & Kasandra Tantillo. Services will be held at the family's discretion and announced at a later date.
