OSSIPEE, NH... Leonard E. Shurtleff, 61, of Ossipee, NH passed away April 5, 3013 at home. He was the husband of 42 years of Shirley A. (Levesque) Shurtleff. They were residents of Ossipee, NH for the past 7 years, coming from Attleboro, MA. Born in Taunton, he was the son of Doris (Parisee) Shurtleff of New Bedford, MA and the late Grover Shurtleff. Mr. Shurtleff was employed as an Electronic Engineer at G.E. Ion Track and had formerly worked as an Electronic Engineer at Motorola for 25 years. He was a member of the Madison Gun Club, Madison, NH, and the Ossipee Zoning Board of Adjustment. He enjoyed working around the co-op where he was living, being a ham radio operator, hunting and fishing. Along with his wife and mother, survivors include a son: Bryan G. Shurtleff and his companion Curt J. Mohan of New Bedford, MA, a sister: Lana Shurtleff of CA and several nieces and nephews. Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 8 PM at SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA. Calling hours will be Wednesday 5-8 PM.
