With sadness we announce the passing of Linda M. Just on October 10, 2024. Linda, a long-time resident of Fall River, Massachusetts. Born on February 16, 1948 to Cleveland and Mary McDonald of Clarkesville, Georgia. With her career in education, she taught more than just the contents of textbooks.   She was the beloved wife of the late Russell "Ted" Just, the mother of Lauren Gallivan and Scott Just. Survivors include their spouses Daniel Gallivan of Raynham and Stacey (Pierce) Just of Berkley. She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Brendan and Kiera Gallivan and Andrew and Nicholas Just.   Linda also leaves behind her beloved sisters, Virginia Abbot of Georgia and Sharon Richardson of North Carolina, both of whom she adored and recalled often with great fondness. Also leaving behind Virginia's husband David Abbot, many nieces and nephews. Frequently recalling memories of her family, she was a proud daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and aunt.   Born in Georgia she often spoke of the memories of her family, growing up on the family farm. She enjoyed gardening, visiting friends and was an active participant in the Fall River Baptist Church. She participated in the church choir and attended many weekly events, it was her community and home.   We invite you to join us in honoring Linda's life and celebrating her legacy. Public visitation will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 10:00 am at the South Coast Funeral Home, located at 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, Massachusetts, 02723, followed by a service at 11:00 am.
