FALL RIVER... Linda M. (Baptista) Paquette, 67, of Fall River passed away June 21, 2017, surrounded by her loving daughters. She was the widow of Victor J. Paquette, Jr. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Ernest S. and Mary I. (Guimar) Baptista and she had been a lifelong resident of this city. Mrs. Paquette enjoyed watching sports, particularly the Boston Rex Sox and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Along with her daughters; Jillian Paquette and Tara Paquette, both of Fall River, survivors include 3 sisters; Diane L. Souza, Arleen G. St. Germaine and Karen A. Baptista, All of Fall River, a brother; Ernest D. Baptista of Westport, 5 grandchildren; Samantha, Kaitlyn, Shyann, Tyrone, Jr. and Tredan, a great granddaughter; Skyla Marie, several nieces and nephews. She was grandmother of the late Tre J. Paquette and sister of the late David B. Baptista. At the request of the family, services will be private.
