FALL RIVER... Lorraine A. (St. Peirre) Alves, 71, of Fall River passed away, Friday, January 15, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital, New Bedford. She was born in Fall River a daughter of the late Oscar and Olivette (Dussalt) St. Pierre and had been a lifelong resident of this city. Mrs. Alves was a C.N.A. at Crestwood Nursing Home for many years. Lorraine enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, word circle puzzles, sudoku and spending time with her family. She is survived by 2 sons: Henry R. Alves, Jr., Bruce A. Alves both of Fall River, 3 sisters: Doris Couture of Fall River, Pauline LaBrecque of Portsmouth, RI, Elaine Soares of New Bedford, multiple grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Robert St. Rock and Theresa Duperre. Memorial Mass to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Name Church, Hanover St., Fall River, MA. Social distancing and masks are required.
