Lorraine (Platt) Howarth Born on January 13, 1940 passed away December 8, 2024.

Lorraine was the wife to the late Albert Howarth, daughter to the late Dorothy Belanger sister to the late Joseph and David Belanger, Caroline Ouellette, Linda Lapierre, Rose Marie Beauregard. Stepmother to the late Albert Lee Howarth. She is survived by her children George Perry, Michael Howarth, Michelle (Missy) Santos, Christopher Howarth, Son in law Robert Santos Daughter in law Jo-Ann Perry, sister Susan Evans. She leaves 12 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren who carry on her legacy of love, compassion, and generosity.

Lorraine's life was a testament to the power of kindness and the impact one person can make in the world. Lorraine was a proud resident of Dighton, Massachusetts for the last 15 years prior to that she had lived in Rehoboth as well. As a dedicated Package Inspector at Texas Instruments, Lorraine's commitment to her work was exceptional. True to her supportive and generous nature, she often went above and beyond her duties to ensure everything was in perfect order. She was a woman of integrity and commitment, always ready to lend a helping hand.

While her professional life was commendable, it was her personal passions and hobbies that truly showcased the depth of her character. Lorraine was a strong woman on the go, always seeking new adventures and opportunities to connect with her loved ones. Her love for horse racing and training was incomparable, demonstrating her spirit of tenacity and resilience. Lorraine was also an Auxiliary member of the American Legion, where she spent a significant amount of time volunteering. Her love for AKC Show Dogs was another testament to her nurturing spirit and love for animals. As Ralph Waldo Emerson would say, "The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well." Lorraine lived well and made a profound difference in the lives of many.
