Luz's life was a testament to resilience and determination, underscored by a loving nature that embraced everyone she met. As the author, A.A. Milne, so eloquently put it, "Some people care too much. I think it's called love." Luz cared deeply, and it was indeed called love.
Luz was a loyal friend, a confidante, and an unwavering source of support to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was known for her thoughtful gestures, always ready to lend a hand, share a comforting word, or offer a shoulder to lean on. Her resilience was admirable as she faced life's challenges with a fortitude that inspired those around her. Luz's loving nature was her most distinguishing trait, her heart was a harbor of unconditional love for her family, friends, and the community she served.

A public visitation for Luz will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 12:00 PM - 03:00 PM at the Southcoast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, Massachusetts, 02723.
