Manuel
Andrade
Jan 7, 1963 — Dec 5, 2025
Manuel Andrade, affectionately known as "Chimes", of Fall River, Massachusetts, was born on January 7, 1963, in the same city which he called home all his life. He returned to our Heavenly Father on December 5, 2025. Manuel was a lifelong parishioner of Espírito Santo Church, and his faith was a significant part of his life. He was an adventurous spirit, always ready for the next hunting or fishing trip. He was known for his funny anecdotes and contagious laughter that would light up any room. His courageous heart took everything in stride, demonstrating his strength and resilience in difficult times.
Manuel was never formally employed, but he spent his life doing what he loved most: spending time with his family and enjoying the great outdoors. He had an uncanny knack for playing special numbers on Keno, a hobby that brought him much joy and laughter. Above all, he was a loving father and grandfather. His family was at the center of his world, and he always made sure they knew how much he loved them.
Manuel is survived by his mother, Odilia Andrade; his daughters, Stacy Andrade and Vanessa Moniz; his son-in-law, Kyle Moniz; and his grandchildren, Ava Andrade-Leduc and Mason Freitas. He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Andrade. He is survived by many loving aunts uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, 08:30 AM - 09:30 AM at Southcoast Funeral Home, inside of the Ferreira Chapel, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, Massachusetts. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM at Espirito Santo Catholic Church, 311 Alden Street, Fall River, Massachusetts. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery and Mausoleums 1540 Stafford Rd, Fall River, MA 02721.
As we remember Manuel, we are reminded of the verse from the Book of Matthew 5:4, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." His family invites you to share your memories and upload photos of Manuel to his memorial page. May his adventurous, funny, loving, and courageous spirit live on in those who knew and loved him.
