It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Manuel M. Arruda Dias, 78 of Fall River, Massachusetts.

Manny passed peacefully on June 7, 2025 at home with his family by his side. Born on April 6, 1947 in Ponta Delgada, on Sao Miguel Island.

Manny was the only boy with 3 caring and lovable sisters, who he loved and adored dearly. Manny was known for his contagious laugh, his playful and care free spirit, and his ability to bring light and laughter in the toughest of situations.

He was the beloved husband of Ewa Dias. He is survived by his daughter Elizabeth Iannuccilli and son in law Nick Iannuccilli, son Eric Dias and daughter in law Elisabete Dias, sister Cecilia Trunfio and husband Edward Trunfio, niece Christina Pacific and husband Robert Pacific, great nephew Noah Pacific, and grandson Kaidyn Dias.

He will be deeply missed for his goofy jokes, love of story telling, and his charismatic ability to attract, influence, and inspire others around him to be comfortable with just a simple greeting and a smile.

A Celebration of Life will take place at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Riverside, RI at a date to be determined.
