It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Marc Edward MacLaughlin, affectionately known as Marc, born on April 23, 1965, in Brockton, MA. Marc, a beloved husband, father, friend, and community member, left us too soon on August 18, 2025.

Marc spent the last decade of his life in Fall River, Massachusetts, where his impact was deeply felt. For many years, he worked tirelessly as a Whirlpool forklift driver, ensuring that his community was always cared for. His dedication to his work was only surpassed by his commitment to his beloved wife, Ann MacLaughlin. Their love story was one for the ages, filled with shared adventures, laughter, and an unyielding bond that brought joy to all who witnessed it. Marc was predeceased by his mother, Joyce Benoit, whose strong values and earnest work ethic had an indelible affect on Marc's character.

Marc, a passionate sports fan, is survived by his daughter Kyle Shea MacLaughlin and step sons Brendan and Cody Litchfield.

A public visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 from 04:00 PM – 07:00 PM at the Southcoast Funeral Home, located at 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, Massachusetts, 02723. A committal service will follow on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Melrose Cemetery, located at 88 North Pearl Street, Brockton, Massachusetts, 02301. All attendees are to meet directly at the cemetery on Wednesday.
