NEW BEDFORD... Marcelle M. (Adams) Desjardins, 63, of New Bedford passed away November 14, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital following a beautiful life. Born in Biddeford, ME, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Mildred (Anderson) Adams and had lived in the Westport/Dartmouth area for many years. Mrs. Desjardins was a co-owner/operator of the former Call-A-Page Message Systems, Inc. of Dartmouth, a graduate of the B.C.C. Nursing Program and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include a daughter: Sarah (Desjardins) Rigoli of West Newbury, MA, a son: Peter Desjardins of Bedford, MA, 2 sisters: Susan Adams of Naples, FL and Andrea Adams of Palm Beach, FL, a brother: Andrew Adams of Lakewood, NJ, 3 grandchildren: Thomas Desjardins, Isaac Rigoli and Charles Desjardins, and several nieces and nephews. Memorial Service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Sunday, November 17, 2013 at 2 PM at the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA 02723. Memorial Visitation will be Sunday from 12 - 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Desjardins' name may be made to the St. Vincent Emergency Clothing Fund, c/o Maria Couto, 2425 Highland Ave, Fall River, MA 02720.
