We remember with love and affection Maria Sanders (Barbosa) of Fall River, who was born in the beautiful Azores on February 9, 1952, and who lived a life full of vibrancy and resilience until December 26, 2025.

Maria was a hardworking laborer in the textile industry.

Maria, a woman of strength and dignity, had the ability to find joy in the simplest things and shared that joy with everyone around her.

Maria is survived by her loving brother, Henrique Barbosa and his family. She was preceded in death by her father, Jose Barbosa, and mother, Maria Barbosa. A Private committal service was held at St. Patrick's Cemetery on January 6, 2026.
