Maria (Ramalho) Viveiros, 66, of Fall River, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at her home in Fall River. Born in Terceira but raised in Sao Miguel, Azores. She was the daughter of the late Jose Cabecinha and Maria Medeiros and was one of twelve siblings,

Maria emigrated to Fall River in 1976 where she worked in various curtain and textile mills in the city for over 25 years before she retired. She was a devoted Christian who loved to spread the word of God and always ready to lend a helping hand.

She is survived by her husband Humberto Viveiros of Fall River; daughter, Elizabeth Ramalho Sheehan and husband Colin of Marshfield MA ; son, Jason Ramalho of Fall River; 2 grandchildren, Joshua & Rebecca; 11 brothers and sisters, Antonio, Theresa, Francisco, Maria, Jose, Joao, Ernesto, Fatima, Dos Santos, Lucia and Norberto and over 20 nieces and nephews.

A public visitation will be held for Maria Viveiros on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 01:00 PM - 03:00 PM inside of the Southcoast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, Massachusetts, 02723. Following this, a funeral home service will take place at 3:00 PM, at the same venue.
