It is with both sadness and honor that we share the life of Mark Joseph Nunes, who passed away on February 6, 2026. Born in Fall River, Massachusetts on January 28, 1993, Mark lived his life with a passion and joy that was palpable to all who knew him. He was the loving son of the late David E. Nunes.

Mark was a dedicated and skillful mechanic at Local 6 Heat and Frost, where he not only repaired but also mended hearts with his charismatic personality and infectious laughter.

Husband of Kathleen Nunes of Fall River and father of two young sons Mark (MJ) Nunes and Jaxson Nunes. Other survivors include his mother Lynn Alecrim Nunes of Fall River and brother Ryan Alecrim of Fall River. Also, two nephews and a niece and many family and friends who loved him dearly.

Mark was a devoted New England sports fan, his favorite being the Boston Bruins having been a hockey player himself. He loved country music and tailgating concerts. He also loved to cook and entertain family and friends during special occasions. He enjoyed spur of the moment trips snowmobiling in the White Mountains, and long drives and fishing by the lakes. Any thing New Hampshire. His greatest love was his family. He had a life long bond with his parents. His big "brubba" was someone he looked up to as a hero since he was a child. His most cherished time was spent with his wife and "His boys" whom he loved so deeply. He will forever be a part of our hearts and our memories.

Friends and Family are cordially invited to attend a public visitation which will be held at Southcoast Funeral Home, inside of the Ferreira Chapel, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, Massachusetts, 02723 on Sunday, February 15, 2026, 03:00 PM - 06:00 PM. The Funeral service will follow at the same location on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 09:00 AM. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Joseph's Church, 1335 North Main Street, Fall River, Massachusetts, 02720, on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.

In keeping with the wishes of the family and respect for Mark, the family humbly and kindly asks that no one under the age of 16 be permitted to attend the funeral services.
