PROVIDENCE... Maryann (Paul) Rivard, 51, of Tiverton passed away, May 3, 2019, at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the companion of George Souza for 32 years. She was born in Fall River a daughter of the late Ernest and Theresa (Gaskell) Paul and had lived in Tiverton since 1998. Maryann was employed as a Certified Nurses Aide at Brookdale Senior Living in Tiverton for over 20 years. Ms. Rivard attended the Salvation Army on Bedford Street, Fall River. She enjoyed the beach, going out to eat, getting her hair and nails done, and having family gatherings with her children and grandchildren. Survivors include her companion, a son: Shawn Rivard and his wife Mandy of New Bedford, 2 daughters: Felicia Rivard, Roxanne (Souza) McIntyre and her husband Charles, a step-son George Smith, a brother Ernest Paul, Jr., 2 sisters: Bonnie Ann Paul, Tina Sinclair all of Fall River, 5 grandchildren Alex, Paris, George, Jr., Logan, Ryder, several nieces and nephews. Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday at 8P.M. at the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant Street Fall River. Calling hours will be Tuesday 5-8 P.M.
