With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Richard Couto, who left this world on August 2, 2025. Born on October 22, 1968, in Fall River, MA. Michael spent most of his life in his hometown, leaving a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to cross paths with him.

Michael was the son of the late Deborah (Moniz) Bagao and the late Richard Couto and the brother to the late Staci Couto. He is survived by his daughter, Alyssa Couto, his companion and best friend of 17 years, Sue Lown, and his two sisters Lori (Couto) Pimentel of Fall River, and Lisa Couto of Plainville.

Despite the challenges life presented, Michael maintained an unmatched spirit and a heart full of love for those around him. His sense of humor, resilience, and compassion were his defining qualities, creating memories that will forever be cherished by those who knew him.
