FALL RIVER... Michael P. Hannan, 73, of Fall River, MA, passed away, Friday, December 22, 2023, at home and then transported to Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was born in Fall River, a son of the late Gerald St. Hilaire and Dorothy (Clark) Hamel and had lived most of his life in Fall River. Mr. Hannan was a Food Supervisor with Middlesex Human Services, retiring in 2020 after over 20 yrs. of service. Michael enjoyed working with his hands, a "Mr. Fix-it", as well as reading. He also enjoyed his Harley Davidson and going on rides with his granddaughter. Survivors include his daughter Mandy Hannan, and granddaughter Mikayla Alves of Fall River, MA; daughter Lori DeCosta and son-in-law Mark DeCosta of Tiverton, RI; brother Robert St. Hilaire of Boston, MA; sister Donna Fernandes of Westport, MA; godmother Alice Costa; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Michael P. Hannan, Jr. and Melinda Nally-Hannan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael's name to the American Cancer Society. Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, January 6, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M. at the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant St., Fall River, MA 02723.
