FALL RIVER... Michael S. "Shane" Latour, 51, of Fall River passed away July 20, 2022. Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Omer J. Latour and Constance J. (Gosslin) Wilks. He has been a lifelong resident of this city. He was the former husband of the late Theresa Ravenalle. An avid outdoorsman, Mr. Latour enjoyed fishing, swimming and camping. In his younger years, he enjoyed weightlifting and loved spending time with his family. Survivors include his stepchildren: Courtney Ravenalle Folsom and Jeffrey Heaberlin; his sisters: Jeanne Robitaille, Laurie Silvia and Karen Harper; his brothers: Timothy Harper and Leslie John Harper; his step grandson Alex along with many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Darlene Latour, Wayne Moss, Harold R. Latour and Darren C. Latour. Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday, July 29, 2022, at 11 AM at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant Street Fall River, MA 02723 followed by interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Friday from 9 - 11 AM, prior to the service.
