Michelle Marie Howerton, 57, of Milford, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on the morning of August 2, 2026, following a brief illness. Surrounded by the love of her family, Michelle was called home and reunited with her beloved mother, Barbara (Quinlan) Rudolph; her father, Larry Howerton; her stepfather, Lawrence Rudolph, Jr.; her cherished grandmothers, Lillian Quinlan and Faye P. Howerton-Rose; and her longtime companion of 25 years, Steven Foster.

Born on June 16, 1969, in Natick, Massachusetts, Michelle spent her childhood in Framingham before making Milford her home for the remainder of her life.

Michelle appreciated life's simple pleasures. She loved listening to classic rock, spending time with family and friends, relaxing at the beach, and never missed the chance to enjoy Framingham Bakery pizza a favorite she often talked about and never quite got over losing when the bakery closed. Although football was never really her sport, she faithfully sat through countless Football Sundays simply because it meant being surrounded by the people she loved.

Above all else, Michelle cherished her role as "Grammy" to her beloved grandchildren, Enzo and Vera Ruscitti. They were the center of her world and brought her endless pride, laughter, and happiness. Whether cheering them on from the sidelines, or simply enjoying time together, being their grandmother was her greatest joy.

Michelle is lovingly survived by her son, Vincent Ruscitti, and his wife, Katelyn, of Mendon, Massachusetts; her brother, Larry E. Howerton of Framingham; her sister, Lisa A. Lyons of Grafton, and her husband, Todd; her nephew, Nicholas Rudolph; and her cherished grandchildren, Enzo and Vera Ruscitti. She also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will forever hold her memory close.

Michelle's life was one of perseverance. In recent years, she worked hard to move forward, rebuild meaningful relationships, and embrace the love of her family. Those who knew her best witnessed the progress she made and the devotion she had for the people she loved. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is now at peace, and they will forever cherish the memories, laughter, and unconditional love she shared.

A celebration of Michelle's life will be held at a later date. The family sincerely thanks everyone for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this difficult time.
