Mona Mae MacNaughton, 75, of New Bedford passed away Monday, October 14, 2024, after a period of declining health.

She was born on May 21, 1949, in Milford, Ma to the late John and Lillian (Clarke) MacNaughton. She grew up in Upton, attended Upton schools and Nipmuc Regional.

Mona (affectionately known as "Bozo" by her loving family) was the second born and eldest daughter of seven children. She is survived by her son Damon L. Deluca, her long-time partner Edward Dias, whom the family is forever grateful for the love & care he gave to Mona, their dog Cookie. She also leaves her siblings John P. MacNaughton his partner Peggy Sue, Mark A. MacNaughton, his wife Donna, Gale A. Maher, her husband James, Lisa T. McTurk and her husband William, sister-in-law Joyce MacNaughton, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Mona was predeceased by her daughter Tonya L. DeLuca-Taylor, siblings Gary I. and Lori N. MacNaughton.

After moving to the Dartmouth area for many years, she was a bartender at Barberos Restaurant and worked in the HealthCare Field. She spent her free time mostly at the beach, she loved her family, the Ocean, Country Music, Betty-Boop, Harley Davidsons, and Cadillacs.

Graveside services will take place at Lakeview Cemetery, Upton, privately at the request of her family. For Anyone wishing to honor Mona, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choosing.
