With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Nader Antonios Ghobrial, known by all as Nader, on December 26, 2024. Nader was a remarkable soul whose life was defined by his love for others, his passion for his work, and his strong connection to his roots. As the poet Kahlil Gibran once said, "Life is indeed darkness save when there is urge, and all urge is blind save when there is knowledge, and all knowledge is vain save when there is work, and all work is empty save when there is love."

Nader was born on April 2, 1946, in Alexandria, Egypt. His journey to the United States, where he made his home in Fall River, Massachusetts, was one filled with courage and determination. His tenacity and work ethic propelled him to the top of his field in the textile industry, where he worked tirelessly as a respected engineer. Nader's expertise was not just limited to his professional life; it extended to the way he took care of his family, friends, and everyone who was lucky enough to cross his path. His home was always open, and his heart was always ready to give.

Nader was widowed by his loving wife, Pamela Ghobrial, and is survived by his devoted daughter, Krista Ghobrial. He is also preceded in death by his parents, Antonios and Mary Ghobrial. Nader's spirit of generosity, his unwavering integrity, and his contagious laughter will forever remain in our hearts. As Albert Einstein beautifully expressed, "Our death is not an end if we can live on in our children and the younger generation. For they are us, our bodies are only wilted leaves on the tree of life."
