Nancy Ellen Francoeur, formerly Platt, was born on a crisp fall day, September 12, 1957, in Fall River, MA, USA. Nancy was a beacon of strength and resilience, a woman who truly embodied the words of Eleanor Roosevelt: "You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.'" On October 7, 2024, Nancy drew her last breath, leaving behind a legacy of courage and compassion.

Nancy's life was a testament to the power of empathy. She devoted her professional career to social work, providing emotional support and resources to those in need.
