Almeida
Sep 22, 2000 — Jan 30, 2026
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Nicholas Scott Almeida (25), a beloved son, brother, and friend, who left us on January 30, 2026.
Born in Fall River, Massachusetts on September 22, 2000, Nicholas Scott lived a life defined by shared moments of joy, love, and laughter, he was a life long resident of Fall River, Nick was a graduate of Resiliency Preparatory Academy and worked as a Pool Installer.
During his short time on earth, he brought joy and laughter to all who were lucky enough to know him. We will miss everything about him but especially his lisp, his laugh, the little gap between his teeth and his ability to make everyone laugh. He was always there to help when you needed it. Nick enjoyed biking and creating memories, but most of all he loved fishing, even going by Nick Fishin' on social media.
Nicholas was predeceased by his mother and best friend Elizabeth Kut-Almeida, grandparents, Domingos and Laurinda Almeida, Carl and Jeanne Gizzi, and Sigmund Kut, Aunt Lisa Kut, Uncle David Kut, and cousin Rylee O'Connor.
He is survived by his father, Domingos Almeida Jr, and wife Rhonda, his sister Marissa Richard, stepbrother Michael Connor, longtime girlfriend Briana Greaves. Aunts and Uncles: Lucia Kenyon of Florida, Ana and Luis Viveiros, M. Fatima Almeida, M Connie and Manny Azevedo, and Manuel Almeida all of Fall River. He also leaves behind several heartbroken cousins and even more friends that wish they had more time with him. Nick will also be sorely missed by his rescue dog Zelda.
His life will be celebrated on Thursday, February 12, 2026, with a public visitation, 04:00 PM - 06:30 PM at the Southcoast Funeral Home, inside of the Ferreira Chapel, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, Massachusetts, 02723. The Celebration of Life will follow at 06:30 PM presided over by Chaplain and Life Celebrant Ines Bates. His life will be celebrated also with his Mother the late Elizabeth Almeida at the same time and same venue, please see her obituary for his details.
In remembering Nicholas Scott, we invite you to share your memories and upload photos to his memorial page, as we collectively honor and celebrate his life. His spirit will continue to live on in the stories we share and the memories we cherish.
