It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Nicholas Angel Lebron, known to many as "Nick the Stick", on July 3, 2026. Born in Norwalk, Connecticut, on November 19, 1964, Nicholas was a beacon of strength and light, living his life as though embodying the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson, "The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well."

Nick was a one-of-a-kind person, there was never a dull moment when Nick was around and he connected with all of us in his own special way. He had a unique sense of humor and would always find a way to try to make you laugh with jokes he thought were hilarious. He was always the life of the party he loved spending time with his family and friends telling jokes and stories past and present. He loved his family and always went out of his way to let his nieces and nephews know that they were loved and important.

Nick was an exceptional pool player and played on many different pool leagues throughout the years. He also loved fishing on or off shore and working on his boat. Nick loved all cultures and also loved traveling when he could and spent time in Arizona Texas and Puerto Rico where he was planning to return this summer.

Nick is survived by his brother Ricardo Lebron, brother Jose Delgado his daughter Vanessa spouse(Arthur) and daughter Duchess. His sister Raquel (Delgado) Andreozzi spouse (Ronald) their daughter Jessica and her children India and Ionna. Brother Alex Delgado and his children Alyssa, Kristin, Erica and Alix. Brother Frank Delgado spouse (Tammy) and sister Trisha and their daughter Corah (fiance Michael) their daughter Mariah. Their son Franky Jr. Spouse (Amber) and their children Frankie 3rd and Skye, and nieces Raquel and Kelly. His only surviving Aunt Iris Rivera and many cousins.

Nick also leaves behind lifelong partner and friend Maryanne Disilvestro as well as his best friend and family friend John Wagner of over 50 years. Nick was preceded in death by his late mother Pauline C. (Belanger) Delgado and his father Urpiano B. Lebron and stepfather Jose R. Delgado. His late brother Benito Banks, and his late aunt Rita Manning, her children Clint Deborah Cheryl Melinda and Kenneth. Late Aunt Carmen Ortiz and late cousin Orlando Torres.

In the words of Maya Angelou, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Nicholas's kindness, compassion, and dedication will not be forgotten. We invite you to share your memories and upload photos of Nicholas to the memorial page. Obituary written by the loving family of Nicholas LeBron. The shock of his passing has left his family beyond broken hearted but also blessed by the love and laughter he brought to our lives and he will be deeply missed.

Friends and Family are cordially invited to celebrate the life of Nick which will be held at the Southcoast Funeral Home on Thursday, July 16, 2026, 05:00 PM - 08:00 PM inside of the Ferreira Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption Church at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 17, 2026. Committal will be private. The family humbly invites all to a bereavement meal following services at Whites of Westport.

The funeral home offers a lighted parking lot which is available on the corner of Boutwell and Pleasant Street, (opposite corner of the funeral home) and our facility has a handicap-accessible ramp and entrance.
