It is with a smile on our faces that we remember the spirited life of Noberto "Nobby" Tavares. Born on November 21, 1959, and setting off on his next adventure on July 5, 2026, Noberto was a beacon of reliability and loyalty in an ever-changing world. Hailing originally from Portugal, he made New Bedford, Massachusetts, his home for 55 wonderful years. Noberto was a vital part of the Sid Wainer & Son family, where his compassionate nature shone through in his work as a warehouse worker. Never one to back down, Noberto embraced every challenge with a vigor that inspired those around him.

Nobby, as he was affectionately known, brought joy to the lives of his loved ones, from his family to his friends, and everyone who had the pleasure to meet him. He leaves behind a loving family, including his daughter Breanna, and his sons, Jaden and Tyler. He is dancing among the stars with his parents, Norberto and Maria Tavares. As it's said in the Book of Matthew, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God." (Matthew 5:8) Noberto's pure, loving heart will forever be remembered by those who knew and loved him.
