In the radiant city of Fall River, Massachusetts, a new life began on August 4, 1963. Pamela Mae Finch, who later became known to us as Pamela Couto, burst into the world bringing her unique blend of wit, courage, and spirit. As the beloved daughter of Darwin Finch Sr. and Marilyn Richard, Pamela's laughter and love for life quickly became the melody of her family's heart.

Pamela was a woman of many passions, her spirited nature was reflected in her love for online games, online bingo, and her dedicated following of Naked and Afraid on the Discovery Channel. A devoted fan of wrestling, she stuck by her New England Patriots even after Tom Brady's departure to the Buccaneers. Her witty humor made every moment with her enjoyable, as she had a knack for dishing out jokes that could lighten up even the darkest day. Her courageous spirit was evident in the way she faced her battles, always with a smile on her face, never allowing her challenges to overshadow her vibrant spirit. Pamela's love extended beyond people to her adorable fur babies, Oreo, Tig, and Miley, with whom she will now be joyously reunited.

She leaves a legacy of love, laughter, and memories with her five sons William Richard, Christopher Finch, Scott Finch, Andrew Finch, and Nick Finch, her two daughters Brook Richard, and Brittany Finch. She also leaves a legacy with her grandchildren, and her two siblings Dawn Monte, Darrel Finch Sr. She also leaves her love with many nieces and nephews.

Pamela is predeceased in life by her mother Marilyn Richard, brother Darwin Finch Jr,

She was a source of strength and love for her son, William Richard. Pamela's love story with William was one of unwavering support, providing him with an example of strength and resilience that he will carry with him always. To quote Maya Angelou, "I can be changed by what happens to me. But I refuse to be reduced by it." Pamela lived by this quote, refusing to be defined by her circumstances, but rather by her indomitable spirit and loving heart.

A public visitation will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 9:00 AM, at the Southcoast Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 AM presided over by Chaplain and Life Celebrant Ines Bates. This will be followed by a Committal Service with Chapel Prayers at 11:00 AM at the Notre Dame Cemetery and Mausoleums, located at 1540 Stafford Road, Fall River, Massachusetts, 02721.
