FALL RIVER.... Patricia I. (Cormier) Astle, 72, of Fall River passed away April 20, 2012 at Charlton Memorial Hospital following a long illness. She was the loving wife of 39 years of the late Frederick Astle. Born in New Bedford, she was a daughter of the late Zephyr and Irene (Morrissette) Cormier and had lived in the Fall River area her whole life. Mrs. Astle was a proud mother of three and grandmother of two, who enjoyed shopping and going to lunch with her sister and best friend Beverly Galipeau, reading, cooking, watching New England Sports and playing computer games and cards. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and her loving pet Bru. Survivors include two daughters: Cheryl Astle of Wellington, FL, and Karen Pavao of Fall River, one son: Frederick Astle Jr. of Westport, two beloved grandchildren: Brenden Pavao and Kelsey Pavao, two sisters: Beverly Galipeau of Fairhaven, and Arlene Cormier of New Bedford. At the request of the family, services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River.
