Patricia
Counsell
Apr 10, 1953 — Feb 24, 2025
Patricia Ann Counsell, born as Patricia Faillace in Hudson, New York on April 10, 1953, enlightened the world with her enduring spirit, radiant smile, and boundless love. In the words of Albert Schweitzer, "The purpose of human life is to serve, and to show compassion and the will to help others." Patricia embodied this sentiment throughout her life, touching the hearts of everyone she met with her kindness and generosity.
Patricia spent the retirement years of her life in Wareham, Massachusetts.
Patricia was the epitome of perseverance and grace, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a word of encouragement. She had a knack for making those around her feel valued and loved, a quality that is rare and will be sorely missed. As Helen Keller once said, "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart." Patricia was one of those beautiful things, whose impact was felt far beyond what could be seen.
Patricia leaves behind her beloved husband, John Counsell, who was not only her partner in life but her best friend. She navigated life's ups and downs with John by her side, their love story serving as an inspiration to those who knew them. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Georgia Faillace, whose love and values are reflected in the wonderful person Patricia became.
Patricia Counsell's legacy is not just in the years she lived, but in the lives she touched, the smiles she shared, and the love she gave. She was a beacon of light in this world, and though she is no longer physically with us, her spirit continues to shine brightly in our hearts.
We encourage everyone who knew Patricia to share their memories of her and upload photos to the memorial page. Please join us in celebrating Patricia's life and honoring the remarkable woman she was. Your stories and photographs will serve as a testament to Patricia's beautiful spirit and the indelible impact she had on all our lives.
