Patrick J. Manning, age 76, of Fall River MA, passed away on Thursday afternoon, December 12, 2024 after a prolonged illness. He was born on January 18, 1948 and was a lifelong resident of Fall River.

Patrick was preceded in death by his parents Francis J and Doris A Manning. He was a devoted brother to two sisters, Frances Guiney of Fall River and Kathleen Gray of Foxborough, as well as an uncle to Michael Guiney and Jennifer Olivera of Fall River MA, John Gray of Newmarket NH, Brenna Crissafulli of Marshfield MA and Andrew Gray of Goose Creek SC. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and then St Bernadette parish in Fall River.

Patrick had been employed for many years in the housekeeping departments of both Truesdale and Charlton Memorial Hospitals. Patrick enjoyed a spirited discussion on current events and was a regular and someone iconic call-in participant on WSAR talk radio. He will be missed by many listeners as they enjoyed his unique perspectives. He was a loyal fan of Taylor Swift as well as a passionate supporter of the sporting scene in New England, showcasing an impressive reservoir of past and current college and professional statistics.

Family and friends are invited to attend a public Visitation from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at the Southcoast Funeral Home at 1555 Pleasant Street in Fall River MA.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 10:00 AM, also at the Southcoast Funeral home. Interment will follow at the Newport Memorial Cemetery in Middletown RI.
